If anyone can help me I would appreciate it I am having trouble sending emails using hotmail I mean when I send an email to someone they only get the subject and there is no message. I can send an email to myself and the message is there.
Hard to say. Have you started using Outlook.com?
Next, I feel Hotmail is best handled with the Windows 8 mail client, provided your screen reader can see it. Jaws 15 does now nicely.
If not, some other program works better, such as Microsoft Outlook.
The site can be used, but it is difficult as I see it.
outlook.com has a preview window, you need to turn it off before you can successuflly use it with the vertual cursor. You would needto use the mouse cursor to click on the email yu want to read, hope this helps.
I don't have any problems reading emails I just have problem sending them. No I use hotmail.com not outlook.com. I have jaws 13 Thank you for any help.
Hi all,
While my computer (which had windows live mail installed on it) is being fixed, I'm forced to use outlook.com. What is this preview window that was mentioned and how does one go about turning it off? Also, I can't even open emails to read them (with NVDA). The inbox table appears as normal, but when I click on the message title link, nothing happens. Ideas?
Ah. If you are still using Hotmail.com that is probably the issue right there. Hotmail has changed to outlook.com.
I don't know all the ins and outs, because I don't use it regular, but think it is more trouble than it is worth even for you that use different screen readers. I'd install live mail and use that mail client if I didn't have outlook or something else. Just easier.
